An Abundance of Solid Themes

There are a variety of cleverly developed themes in the series. My favorite is definitely the  “power vs. integrity”  dual highlighted in Mariah and Cottonmouth’s relationship.   Mariah a black female politician  questions the motives of her cousin Cottonmouth a power hungry Gun selling Lord, who will seemingly stop at nothing to stay on top. It is interesting to see how their relationship festers as the season progresses.
